14 questions for Christina Begale Where would you like to live? In Düsseldorf or beside the Wilder Kaiser mountain in Tyrol.
What do you like most about Düsseldorf? Everything is in easy reach in Düsseldorf (the “10-minute city”) but it’s still international.
What improvements should be made to the city? The city should be made cleaner again, and the parks better cultivated. That is effective location marketing for all target groups.
What profession would you like to have pursued? Public prosecutor.
Your greatest strength? My talent for organisation and my ability to assert myself.
Your greatest weakness? I am sometimes too direct.
What qualities do you most appreciate in those you are talking to? Knowledge, eloquence and courtesy.
What qualities do you least appreciate in those you are talking to? Unpunctuality.
What do you most enjoy doing in your spare time? Spending time in nature or attending sporting events with my daughter Allegra and my partner.
Who are your role models? Anne Frank and Carla del Ponte.
What reform do you most admire? Agenda 2010.
If you were a politician, what would you change straight away? I would strengthen local authorities’ powers of self-administration again.
